The Women’s City Club of Haverhill was forced to end its season early but members are reminded that dues are still payable for the upcoming year.

The club’s new season leads off Sept. 15 with perennial favorite florist Bill Graham. His “Bounty of the Season,” club officials say, always brings members out for the program, brief business meeting and light refreshments. This extra special meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m., instead of 1 p.m.

Payment of $30 should be sent to Membership Chairman Phyllis Farfaras at her address in the club handbook.

The club meets in the lower level of Christian Advent Church, 160 Carleton St., Haverhill. Guests are always welcome. This first meeting will be free to guests, to celebrate the beginning of a new club year. Parking is in the front of the church, while the meeting is downstairs and easily accessible via a lift.
