There may be traffic delays Monday and Tuesday as a single right lane closes on Interstate 495 north between exits 48 and 49 and a single left lane on the southbound side between exits 48 and 50.
The northbound lane closes between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., while the southbound lane closes between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The state Department of Transportation says closures are necessary to extend the temporary barrier northbound at the River Street overpass and southbound at the Ward Hill Connector.
