Today’s Obituaries—March 20: Soucy, Spinney

Mark J. Soucy, 59, died March 18 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington. Born in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill schools and was the senior class president of Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 1978. He was an electrician for more than 40 years working for various electricians and Morrill Electric of Amesbury for more than 20 of those years. He was also a former officer of Amvets Post 147, Primrose Street, Haverhill.  Services are private to the family. Arrangements are by Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.

Donna M. (Eason) Spinney, 59, of Kingston, N.H., and formerly of Amesbury, where she lived for 28 years, and Haverhill, passed away March 18, at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill after battling lung disease for seven years. Born and raised in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1978. For many years she was an educator with developmental students in Massachusetts. She was a member of the Haverhill Elks and enjoyed playing darts with friends. There will be a celebration of life Friday, March 27, 5 p.m., at Salisbury Beach State Reservation. Arrangements are by Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
