Mary V. Baur, 77, of Haverhill, died March 5, at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill. She was a lifelong resident of Haverhill who attended Opportunity Works in Newburyport for several years. Visiting hours are Thursday, March 12, from 6-8 p.m., at Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill. A committal service takes place Friday, 11 a.m., from Linwood Cemetery in Haverhill

Gregory Monahan, 65, of Pelham, N.H., died unexpectedly Friday, March 6, at his residence. In his career as patient care coordinator at New England Baptist Hospital and later at Mass General, he took great pride in the fact that he was a dedicated advocate for his patients and was always sure they were informed, cared for and comfortable. He leaves his wife Ellen Swartz of Haverhill. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
