Michael Young, editor and publisher of his father’s Haverhill Hillies sports-themed book, discusses the donation of related sports memorabilia to the Buttonwoods Museum in a special interview and appearance later this month.

Ernie Young spent a lifetime writing “Hillies: 125 Years of Haverhill Football 1890-2015.” Materials that helped form the core of the book, along with Michael’s collaboration with his dad, are subjects of an interview with City Councilor and WHAV talk personality William J. Macek. Some of the collection will be on display during the live talk Thursday, Feb. 27, 6 p.m., at HC Media, Harbor Place, 2 Merrimack St.

The event is free and open to the public.
