Today’s Obituaries—Feb. 14: Carnes, Letourneau

Daniel James Carnes, 61, of Plaistow, N.H., formerly of Merrimac and Haverhill, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 11, 2020, unexpectedly at his home from natural causes. Born in Haverhill, March 22, 1958, he went to Haverhill High School, and was a custodian in the Merrimac school system for many years. He later went back to school at Computer Learning Center and Northern Essex Community College and became a computer network engineer. He worked for large corporations until he opened his own business Complete Computer Services. Visiting hours are Saturday, Feb. 15, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury, immediately followed by funeral services at 3. Burial at Hillside Cemetery, Haverhill, is this spring.

Richard E. Letourneau, 96, longtime Haverhill resident, died Thursday, Feb, 13, surrounded by his loved ones. Visiting hours are Monday, Feb. 17, at Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main St., Haverhill, from 4-7 p.m. Services are Tuesday in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Interment with U.S. Navy Honors follows in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
