John H. Hartmann, 91, a former longtime resident of Haverhill, died Feb. 9, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Fla. Born in Manchester, N.H., raised and educated in Groveland, Hartmann moved to Haverhill in 1948. An auto-body repairman at Regan Ford and MacGregor-Smith Motors, he was employed at many Haverhill dealerships and later worked at Haverhill City Hall until his retirement. Hartmann was a life member and past commodore of the American Legion Post 4 and a fifty-year member of Saggahew Lodge F.&A.M. of Haverhill and the Allepo Temple Shrine of Boston. Calling hours are Friday, Feb. 14, 4-7 p.m., at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Funeral service is Saturday, Feb. 15, 9 a.m., at the funeral home with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., followed by rendering of military honors by the U.S. Navy.
