This weekend, the New Hampshire Philharmonic, presents “Winter Idylls & Springtime Visions,” a concert of symphonies by conductors Bruckner, Finzi, and Haydn.

Anton Bruckner’s fourth symphony, “Romantic,” captures a 19th century perspective of noble knights, castles, forests and mountains from Europe’s past. Finzi’s “Romance for Strings,” depicts the cool, green English countryside and Haydn’s 73rd symphony, while “The Hunt,” leads listeners through hedgerows and fields.

The concert helps bring listeners out of the cold New England weather and into the warmer English Summer.

The performances are Sat. Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m., and Sun. Feb. 2 at 2 p.m., at Seifert Performing Arts Center, 44 Geremonty Drive, Salem, N.H. Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors over 60, $8 for students and $5 for Salem School District students.

Seasonal tickets are also available (five tickets for the price of four), adult $120, senior $100, student $32 and Salem School District students $20.
