It looks like another day of squeezing into two lanes of I-495 southbound, between exits 49 and 50, as bridge work continues.
The state Department of Transportation originally expected the left lane to be closed during the day Tuesday and Wednesday, but now says the lane will be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., today, near Ward Hill.
The state says the closure is necessary to perform repairs to the highway barrier.
The bridge project is currently in the second of four stages. By August, officials expect to complete a crossover from the southbound lanes onto the by then completed extra wide northbound bridge. A new southbound bridge will be completed during the final project stage.
