Gary Jaffarian of Jaffarian Volvo Toyota was recently named to the Ambassador Team at Ruth’s House, a Lafayette Square thrift shop.

Ambassadors are the complementary partner to the board of directors. The aim of ambassadors is to promote the mission, goals and values of Ruth’s House and spread the word about how Ruth’s House contributes to the community.

“Ruth’s House has long been a leader in the community working with all of the local agencies to support those in need,” said President and CEO Gary Jaffarian of Jaffarian Volvo Toyota. “We are proud of this new partnership and looking forward to helping Ruth’s House achieve their goals to provide care, compassion, clothes and job training to individuals and families in need throughout the Greater Merrimack Valley.”

As an ambassador, Jaffarian is promoting a non-profit referral program. Under the program, participants pick up a referral card at Ruth’s House when purchasing a new or used vehicle and hand the referral card to their salesperson. Then, participants fill out an online form for a $100 donation to Ruth’s House.

“We are honored to be joined by a local philanthropist like Gary Jaffarian, and appreciate his and his team’s support” said Executive Director Anne Moriarty.
