Registration for Haverhill’s free all-day kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year is now open for children turning 5 on or before Aug. 31.
Information sessions take place Tuesday, Feb. 4 and Wednesday, Feb.12, from 6-7:30 p.m., at Haverhill High School Library, 137 Monument St. At meetings, parents may meet kindergarten teachers, receive a brief overview of kindergarten programs, learn about the registration process, be introduced to nursing, food services and transportation services, learn about special education and English learner education and plan for the months ahead.
Registration appointments may be made at the sessions or by calling the Parent Resource Center at 978-420-1951, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 pm. Families are being asked to make registration appointments as soon as possible.
