Haverhill Sailor Ian Kelley is serving aboard the USS Milius (DDG 69), conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
Kelley serves as gas turbine system technician (mechanical) 1st Class. The USS Milius is a Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer. Kelley recently helped as the ship conducted a replenishment-at-sea with the Henry J. Kaiser-class underway replenishment oiler USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194).
