U.S. Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy III will be in Haverhill this Saturday for, what is being called, a “meet and greet” with state Sen. Diana DiZoglio.
Kennedy is vying for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Sen. Edward Markey.
“Joe has proven himself a true leader for working families in Congress and will be a tireless advocate for the Merrimack Valley in the U.S. Senate,” said DiZoglio. “I am excited to have this opportunity to introduce him to the amazing people of the City of Haverhill.”
Kennedy and DiZoglio will meet residents Saturday, Jan. 11, from 2-3 p.m., at Maria’s Family Restaurant, 81 Essex St., Haverhill.
Kennedy, a congressman representing Massachusetts’ 4th District is the grandson of U.S. Sen. and former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and grand-nephew of President John F. Kennedy.
