Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School Superintendent Maureen Lynch provides parents an overview of the school’s offerings when the Haverhill Education Coalition meets this month.

The second half of the free meeting answers questions about the recently passed Student Opportunity Act, which adds $1.5 billion in state education funding over the next seven years. Dr. Thomas W. Grannemann and state Rep. Andy X. Vargas analyze the law and what it means for Haverhill.

The Haverhill Education Coalition meets Wednesday, Jan. 15, 7 p.m., at UMass Lowell’s iHub, 2 Merrimack St., third floor, Haverhill. Refreshments will be served. Those requiring free babysitting may message the page for arrangements.
