Police Say Death of Man at I-93 Salem, N.H., Rest Area is Isolated and Not Suspicious

An as-yet unidentified man was found dead Thursday afternoon at the I-93 rest area in Salem, N.H.

New Hampshire State Police and Salem Police and Fire Department went to the rest area just before 3 p.m., after receiving a report of “an unresponsive male.

According to State Police, “Upon arrival it was determined that the male was deceased. This is an isolated incident and not suspicious in nature.”

The matter is being investigated by Sgt. Bryan Plamondon of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop B Barracks.
