Today’s Obituaries—Dec. 13: Boucher, Donovan

Marilyn Elaine (Littlefield) Boucher, 88, of Haverhill, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 10, at Stewart Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, in the presence of her family. Born in Haverhill, July 31, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Harden) Littlefield and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1949, where she was a member of the basketball team, and was the first female to get a lettered jacket in sports. For many years. she worked as a bookkeeper for a local machine shop. Visiting hours at the Monument Square Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 334 Main St., Haverhill, are Monday, Dec. 16, from 2-7 p.m. Funeral services are private per request of the family.

Doris F. (Usuriello) Donovan, 91, formerly of 500 Water St., Haverhill, died Dec. 9, at Penacook Place, Haverhill, surrounded by her family, friends and staff. She attended Haverhill Public Schools and Fugere School of Hairdressing. As a young woman, she worked as a hairdresser and later for Alco Electronics Co. Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 16, from 4-7 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home to process to Linwood Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
