Today’s Obituaries—Dec. 5: Fenlon, Greaney, Moll

John L. Fenlon Jr., 78, of Salem, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, died Dec. 2, urrounded by his family. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged as a disabled veteran in 1969. He was a supervisor for the United States Post Office until his retirement. Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 6, from 4-7 p.m., at H.L. Farmer and Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. (Route 125) Bradford. His Funeral Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m., in Sacred Hearts Church 165 South Main St. Interment with military honors is private in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Newburyport.

Dorothy V. (Kealey) Greaney, 94, of Haverhill and a former longtime Amesbury resident, died early Monday morning, Dec. 2, at Penacook Place in Haverhill, surrounded by her family. She worked as an administrative assistant and in the accounting department at the former Merrimac Hat Shop in Amesbury and later for her husband’s business, JMG Contractors. Visiting hours at the Highland Chapel of Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, are Sunday, Dec. 8, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. with a funeral mass Monday, Dec. 9, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Joseph Church of the Holy Family Parish, 2 School St., Amesbury, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Paul R. Moll, 90, a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, died Tuesday night, Dec. 3, with his family by his side at the High Pointe Hospice House. He attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and graduated from the former Haverhill Trade School. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, Moll served in the U.S. Air Force from 1947 until 1951. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant and was a recipient of the Korean Service Medal, the Japan Occupation Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He was employed for all of his working career as a sheet metal mechanic and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 17 of Boston. Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 9, from 4-8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, N.H. His funeral liturgy takes place Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial with military honors in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill.
