Joyce (Johnstone) Kershaw, 77, of Haverhill, and formerly of Salem and Hampstead, N.H., Groveland and Kennebunk, Maine, died Nov. 20, surrounded by her family. She worked as a teacher at the Tower Day Nursery School in Lynnfield, for more than 15 years and also as an administrative assistant for 10 years at Topsfield Town Hall. Her life celebration took place Sunday, at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, N.H. Her funeral is today at 9 a.m., from the funeral home with a funeral service following at 10 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 187 East Road, Hampstead, N.H. Burial follows in Lakeview Cemetery in Hampstead.
Rolando S. “Ron” Saldi, 73, of Seabrook Beach, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, died Nov. 17, in Chambersburg, Penn. Born and raised in Haverhill, he spent much of his life in a home built by his late father on Hillcrest Avenue. He graduated from Haverhill Trade School in 1964 and worked as a machinist for several years at Raytheon in Andover, before joining Western Electric in 1971. A celebration of Saldi’s life, and a visitation time is Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, N.H. His funeral service follows at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
