It’s Christmas Kettle time and the local Salvation Army is in search of volunteer bell ringers! Majors Walter and Lynnann Rivers from Haverhill’s Main Street office need the community’s help to staff red kettle donation locations across the city until Christmas Eve.

The Salvation Army seeks outgoing and flexible people who can smile and talk to strangers while ringing bells at the kettles to raise money for the year-round services. The shifts may be split up among several bell ringers and groups or teams are encouraged to participate. Volunteer musicians are also welcome to perform at kettle locations.
