Another week, more lane closures on I-495. Drivers traveling Haverhill’s stretch of route 495 northbound between exits 48 and 49 from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. this week are advised that there is a single right lane closure planned Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Thursday, Nov. 7.
As part of the ongoing bridge construction project, the latest closure is necessary to develop a new pier protection barrier, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation said. As a reminder, the new 55 MPH speed limit is still in effect in the construction zone as work continues.
