Just in time for Halloween, Thomas Spitalere, the founder of The Essex County Ghost Project, delivers a free lecture and discussion on haunted houses tonight, Oct. 8 at Methuen’s Nevins Library, 305 Broadway. Spitalere also plans to talk about some favorite haunts, including one of the most haunted houses in Methuen that is no longer standing. The event kicks off at 6 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. The event is free.
