Drivers, get ready: A single right lane of Interstate 495 between Exits 48 and 49 takes place Tuesday, Oct. 8-Thursday, Oct. 10 during the ongoing bridge demolition work, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation tells WHAV in a statement.
Between 8 a.m.-2 p.m. each day, the right lane will be closed to provide protection from the continued demolition of the northbound bridge. The new 55MPH speed limit remains in place.
