Boxford Crash Claims Life of Natick Woman

A Thursday afternoon crash on Route 95 in Boxford claimed the life of a Natick woman, State Police tell WHAV in a statement. Just after 1 p.m. on Oct. 3, the 65-year-old driver was behind the wheel of a 2017 Honda CRV headed northbound in the area of Exit 52 when she crashed into an embankment to the right side of the roadway and came to rest in the woods.

The sole occupant, the woman was pronounced deceased on the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending family notification.

The crash remains under investigation by State Police assigned to the Newbury Barracks and teams from the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, Crime Scene Services Section and Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Boxford Fire, EMS and Police also assisted at the crash scene.
