Haverhill Public Meetings: Week of Sept. 23

The public has opportunities to shape policy this week as various Haverhill boards meet. In the interest of transparency in government, WHAV provides this list of upcoming meetings every week.

Tuesday, Sept. 24

The Haverhill Retirement Board meets in room 303 of City Hall, 4 Summer St. to discuss the hiring of a membership clerk and benefits counselor during their 9 a.m. session.

Tax Assessor Christine M. Webb oversees Tuesday’s 9 a.m. meeting of the Board of Assessors in room 115 of City Hall.

City councilors hear from Haverwell Market attorney William Faraci at their 7 p.m. session when the lawyer requests the retail marijuana shop applicant be allowed to withdraw their special permit application without prejudice. The meeting, held in room 202 of City Hall, is open to the public.

Wednesday, Sept. 25

The Collaborative Regional Educational Services and Training Board of Directors meeting is held in Methuen Wednesday from 9-10:30 a.m. at 9 Branch St.

Haverhill’s Commission on Disability Issues plans to discuss police training for working with persons with disabilities at their next meeting, held at 1:30 p.m. at the 10 Welcome St. Citizens Center.
