An early morning accident near the Dunkin’ Donuts at 915 South Main St. in Bradford sent two people to the hospital and diverted traffic during Wednesday’s busy morning rush hour for nearly an hour, police and fire officials tell WHAV.

The two-car crash just before the Ward Hill Connector on Route 125 took place at 7:08 a.m. and Haverhill Police shut down the stretch of Route 125 near the donut shop for 45 minutes, diverting traffic around Boston Road, police spokesman Capt. Stephen J. Doherty Jr. said.

Fire Chief William F. Laliberty told WHAV both drivers were treated on scene by firefighters and Trinity EMS before being transported to local hospitals for evaluation. No other details were available about the accident or their injuries.
