Haverhill Public Meetings: Week of Sept. 9

The public has opportunities to shape policy this week as various Haverhill boards meet. In the interest of transparency in government, WHAV provides this list of upcoming meetings every week.

Tuesday, Sept. 10

Haverhill’s Retirement Board convenes in room 303 of City Hall, 4 Summer St. to discuss several items and have a meeting of Teamsters Union Local 170 starting at 9 a.m.

The City Council’s 7 p.m. session includes agenda items on downtown parking, Haverhill High School track improvements and the status of a new city animal shelter. Members of the public may attend the meeting in room 202 of City Hall.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

Updates on projects undertaken by the Haverhill Historic Commission will be supplied during a public meeting Wednesday night at 6 p.m. in room 301 of City Hall.

Stag Tribe Capital plans to petition Haverhill’s Planning Board for a special permit to renovate a 364 Main St. into three residential units during a 7 p.m. public hearing in room 202 of City Hall.
