Applications for the Haverhill Public Library’s scholarship page program are being accepted through Oct. 18. High school juniors living in Haverhill with plans to attend a two- or four-year college are eligible to apply for the Library’s Trustee scholarship program, which affords a $1500 prize to subsidize their education. Accepted pages must work two 2-3 hour shifts at the Library per week for two years in order to receive their scholarship, starting in the fall.

To apply, students must submit a letter of interest, a letter of support from a teacher or guidance counselor and a complete application, which can be found at haverhillpl.org/teens. Again, the deadline is Oct. 18.
