Runners get ready: The ninth annual Bob Laprel road race takes place on Sunday, Sept. 15 and tickets are still available. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers of the four-mile run that kicks off at 10:15 a.m. at Haverhill High School, 137 Monument St.
A two-mile walk also happens that day, starting at 10 a.m. from the high school.
Advance registration is $20 and available online or by calling Brendan at 978-807-1465. T-shirts are available for the first 300 pre-registered entrants. All money raised goes to support the Robert C. Laprel Memorial Scholarship Fund.
