Bridgework continues on the Haverhill stretch of Interstate 495 North and South overnight this week, with two left lanes closed through Thursday, Aug. 29.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation says the two left lanes will close each night from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. to allow for the construction of roadway in the median that ties into the new northbound bridge. No closures are expected over the Labor Day holiday weekend from 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30 through 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3.
