Today’s Obituaries—Aug. 21: Campana, Poore

Audrey (Ronan) Campana, 89, a resident of Haverhill for most of her life, died Aug. 18 at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport, one month shy of her 90th birthday. She worked in the Haverhill treasurer’s office, at Haverhill High School and for the U.S. Air Force at Hanscom Air Force Base in Lexington, among other positions. Following her retirement, Campana worked in the bakery at the Ingaldsby Farm in West Boxford. A life celebration is planned for Thursday, Aug. 22 from 4-6 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral takes place Friday morning at 10 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial follows in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery.

Lewis F. “Lew” Poore, 88, died suddenly on Aug. 14 at Stewart Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Born in Haverhill, Army veteran Poore served in the Korean War worked as an auto mechanic before serving 28 years as a member of the Haverhill Fire Department. His funeral was Aug. 20, with arrangements by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home.
