The Nevins Memorial Public Library in Methuen is hosting a course to arm area youth with the tools to stay safe and secure while staying home alone on Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The course, presented by South Shore Safety health educators, takes serious topics and makes them fun.
