A male driver behind the wheel of a box truck on Interstate 495 north was airlifted to a Boston hospital late Monday after rolling over into the median, Haverhill Fire Chief William Laliberty tells WHAV.
The driver, whose identity was not immediately known, was extricated from the truck and taken to Lawrence General Hospital before being medflighted to Boston.
Methuen’s Fire Department assisted the Haverhill Fire Department in tending to the driver and clearing the crash scene, Laliberty said.
