Matthew G. Donovan, 34, died July 31 in Haverhill. He was employed at Pynn Masonry Contractors in Plaistow, N.H. Calling hours are Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 4-7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.

Wayne D. Fairbanks, 76, of Groveland, died peacefully on Aug. 2 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, surrounded by family. Born in Haverhill, he worked for many years at Valley Screw. Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 8 from 4-7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. His funeral service takes place Friday, Aug. 9 at 11 a.m. at the Groveland Congregational Church, 4 King St., Groveland. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery.

Alban J. Gallant, 96, of Haverhill, and formerly of Bouctouche, New Brunswick, Canada, died Thursday, Aug. 1 at Penacook Place in Haverhill. He was employed as a laborer at the manufacturing mills in Lawrence for his entire career. Funeral services were private, with arrangements under the direction of the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill. Entombment was at the St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.

Gregory J. Raymond, 62, of Nottingham, N.H. and formerly of Haverhill, and Raymond, N.H., died on July 31 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, N.H. Born in Haverhill, he worked as an electrical engineer for Lucent Technologies until his retirement. Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 8 from 5-7 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill.
