The Longest Table is coming to Haverhill on Thursday, Aug. 22, at 6 p.m. in the Wingate Street Arts District. The event, hosted by L’Arche Boston North in conjunction with the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce, is part of a global movement in which neighbors come together to share a meal and discuss the community. For just one night, downtown’s Wingate Street will be transformed into a table that seats 250 people, offering food from over a dozen Haverhill restaurants as well as live music by local bands and a silent auction.
Tickets are $60 per person and must be purchased in advance at haverhilleats.com/longesttable. Menus will also be posted online closer to the event.
