WHAV has learned that a pregnant 17-year-old Seabrook, N.H. teen continues to recover in a Boston-area hospital nearly a week after being shot in Haverhill’s Mount Washington neighborhood. Haverhill Police spokesman Capt. Stephen J. Doherty Jr. said she remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Doherty said the girl was the passenger in a car when multiple shots rang out in the area of 163 Grove St. around 10:30 p.m. on July 21.

“The shooting doesn’t appear to be random, but the victim doesn’t appear to be the intended target,” he said.

Police are investigating multiple motives and no suspects have yet been publicly identified.
