Today’s Obituaries—July 12: Brown, Cormier, Stewart

Anita Lucille (Jutras) Brown, 97, a longtime resident of Bradford, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 9 at Penacook Place. A 25-year employee of Ornsteel Heel, Brown was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish, the Citizens Center social club and Cedardale. Visitation is planned for Monday, July 22 from 9-10 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St. Burial is in the Main Street Cemetery, Rowley.

John J. Cormier, 91, a resident of Haverhill since 1998, died peacefully on                 Tuesday, July 9 at Hannah Duston Healthcare Center, surrounded by his family. A U.S. Navy veteran, Cormier served in WWII and received several awards, including the Navy Occupation and Good Conduct medals. He was employed as an accountant and business manager for several Boston-area car dealerships. A life celebration will be held on Friday, July 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, with a funeral service planned for Saturday, July 13 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, followed by military honors rendered by the U.S. Navy.

Louise E. (Stewart) Miller, 68, died July 10 at Wingate Nursing and Rehab in Haverhill surrounded by her family. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire. A funeral service takes place on Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
