Scott L. Belanger, 63, of Groveland, passed away peacefully, Saturday June 22, 2019. Scott was born in Beverly, MA, August 7, 1955 the son of Elizabeth (Meade) and the late Edward J. Belanger.

Scott was raised in Beverly, MA and graduated from Beverly High School. He was employed for several years as a salesman with Kransberg Furniture in Beverly, MA and Peggy’s Sub Shop in Manchester by the Sea, MA. Scott later moved to Groveland, MA where he resided for several years. He honorably served his nation in the United States Navy and was a proud parent of his three daughters. In later years, Scott was a stay-at-home Dad who cherished time with family. Scott’s role as stay-at-home Dad was his proudest and most loved role. He was a fun-loving, caring dad who other kids also came to love and enjoy spending time around. He will be dearly missed by his children, family and friends.

Scott is survived by his loving mother, Elizabeth Belanger of Beverly, MA, three daughters, Caitlin Harrington and husband Cameron of Peabody, MA, Jaclyn Belanger and Hannah Belanger of Groveland, MA. He also leaves behind two brothers, Richard Belanger and wife Christine of Beverly, MA and Edward J. Belanger, Jr. of Beverly, MA, and one grandchild Azlynn Belanger. He will be remembered by the mother of his children, Judith Belanger, his Uncle Andy Belanger and wife Arlene, several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his father, Scott was pre-deceased by his brother, Gary Belanger.

Services are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 52 Salem St. Bradford, MA 01835. A private graveside will be held for the family.
