Groveland Police Chief Jeffrey Gillen this month completed the Missing and Exploited Children Seminar for Chief Executive Officers in Alexandria, Va.

The invitation-only program, which took place June 4-6 at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, is designed exclusively for law enforcement leaders, 911 communications center directors and Massachusetts Missing Children Clearinghouse managers. Gillen called it “one of the most valuable experiences for me in my 35 years as a law enforcement officer.”

He added, “To have been selected was an honor in itself, but to be able to bring this knowledge home and put it into practice is a plus for the entire Groveland community.”

Gillen is now one of more than 6,000 public safety leaders who have completed this specialized training program.
