On Monday night, listeners of 97.9 WHAV FM enjoy a rare treat—new radio drama presented in stereo.

This week, the usual classic radio episode of “Suspense” is pre-empted for a brand-new episode, performed by Blue Hours Productions in Hollywood. After overhearing her boss making a big drug deal, a nightclub singer’s only chance of salvation is a mysterious woman, but is she just death in another form?

Directed by John C. Alsedek and written by Alsedek and Dana Perry-Hayes, “Duet” stars Azucena Duran, Darren Jacobs, Federika Meek and Amy Louise Pemberton. Harrisburg, Penn-born Alsedek narrates.

“Duet” airs over 97.9 WHAV FM and streams at WHAV.net and on apps such as TuneIn at 10 p.m., Monday night, with an encore performance at 1 a.m. New episodes of “Suspense” air over WHAV as they are released.
