Charles E. Straw, 71, of Ward Hill, died unexpectedly Friday evening, June 7, at his residence. Prior to moving to Ward Hill in the early 1970s, he resided in Methuen. He worked for Western Electric/Lucent Technologies until his retirement in 2001. A celebration of life takes place Friday, June 14 from 4-6 p.m. at the Ward Hill Church of Christ, 34 M St., Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill & Bradford.
