Twenty-eight-year-old Trevor Ahearn is the latest Haverhill man to be sentenced for his role in a far-reaching fentanyl trafficking conspiracy involving what the United States Drug Enforcement Administration called a “vast network” of dealers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

U.S. Attorney Scott W. Murray said Wednesday that Ahearn has been sentenced to 46 months in prison after pleading guilty last fall to his role in conspiring to distribute over 400 grams of fentanyl.

Murray’s office said Ahearn was tasked with selling the drug to customers across New England, with suppliers providing him at least one 200-gram bag each day he worked, expecting him to sell it for $6,000 in proceeds.

He is 33rd person to be charged in connection with the drug ring, Murray’s office said. Alex Noonan, Fernand V. Miranda and Miguel Alvarez are among the defendants from Haverhill.

As WHAV previously reported, 31-year-old Noonan received a 10-year prison sentence for his role in the scheme last month. Noonan was said to have worked for Lawrence-based brothers Sergio and Raulin Martinez.
