William F. Chase, 54, of North Andover, MA, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 7, 2019, at High Pointe House in Haverhill after a valiant seven-month battle with cancer. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Sharon Chase.

Bill was born in Danvers, MA, on December 12, 1964, the son of the late Leonard and Martha (Jervah) Chase. He grew up in Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School. Bill was employed as an electrician at EMD Millipore in Danvers and Bedford for over 20 years. He also worked at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved music and attending rock concerts with his daughter.

Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 34 years, Sharon (Venuti) Chase of N. Andover and his daughter, Lindsay Chase, also of N. Andover, who was his rock and biggest cheerleader through his illness. He also leaves behind his brother, Kenneth Chase of Sartell, MN, and two sisters, June Petrin and husband Robert of Candia, NH, and Janet Parsons of Peabody, MA, as well as his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Deborah Venuti, Stephen Venuti, Scott Venuti and wife Gail, Jeanne (Venuti) Kramer and husband Michael, and James Venuti and fiancée Tracy Cavanaugh. Bill was dearly loved by all and leaves behind several nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours Friday, June 14, 2019, from 2-4 PM at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, MA, 01830. A memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Bill’s name be made to Dana-Farber Community Cancer Care, 25 Marston St., Suite 301, Lawrence, MA, 01841.
