Two people were sent to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in an early morning crash on Haverhill’s River Street, WHAV has confirmed.
Haverhill Police Capt. Stephen J. Doherty tells WHAV a 2018 BMW and 2006 Subaru Legacy both sustained “extensive damage” in the accident near River and Margin Streets just before 3 a.m. Thursday, June 6.
No arrests have been made as the investigation into the crash continues, though Doherty confirms the driver of the BMW—a male Haverhill resident—was cited. The other motorist, also a Haverhill resident, was driving for a local cab company at the time of the accident, Doherty said.
