Louis Robert Iola, 95, a longtime resident of Haverhill died June 1. He was employed at Raytheon for 30 years as senior electrical missile tester. Visitation is Tuesday, June 4, from 5-6:30 p.m., at H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, with a funeral service to follow. At the request of the family, burial in Linwood Cemetery will be private.
Marion E. Pare, 91, of Bradford, died peacefully Sunday, June 2 at Greystone Farm in Salem, N.H. She was the devoted wife of the late Norman Pare. Visiting hours are Monday, June 10 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 52 Salem St., Bradford. A funeral mass will be celebrated immediately following at 11 a.m. from Sacred Hearts Parish, 165 South Main St., Bradford. Burial takes place in Elmwood Cemetery on Salem Street in Bradford.
William J. Shea, 59, of Haverhill, died Friday, May 31 at his residence. A Haverhill native, Shea was a proud Navy veteran and past commander of VFW Lorraine Post 29 in Haverhill and a member of AMVETS 147, also in Haverhill. A celebration of his life takes place Sunday, June 9 at 1 p.m. at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill. Burial is private.
Ralph G. Wightman Jr., 89, of Haverhill, died May 31 at Lawrence General Hospital. He was born, and lived in Haverhill for most of his life except for 20 years he spent moving around during his time in the Navy. He joined the Navy immediately after graduating from Haverhill High School in 1948. After retiring from the Navy, he was employed by American Airlines, Boston, and later at H. L. Farmer and Son as a funeral service professional for 18 years until retiring in 2015. His calling hours were Monday at H. L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, and Funeral Mass of Christian Burial today, at 11 a.m., in Sacred Hearts Church. Burial with Naval Honors takes place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
