Michelle (DeLuca) Benedetti, 51, wife of Joseph A. Benedetti, died May 30 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill after a courageous battle with cancer. For 21 years, she was employed with the State of Massachusetts in the Department of Children and Families as a social worker and supervisor, working in the Haverhill office since 2001. Gilbert J. Levesque, 85, husband of the late Ita (Devitt) Levesque, died peacefully on May 31 at Grace House of Windham in Windham, N.H. Ernest Piccirillo, 89, a highly decorated veteran from Methuen, died unexpectedly on May 29. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for more than 25 years, retiring as a Sergeant First Class.
