Today’s Obituaries—May 31: Azzarito, Cerat, Comeau, Fenton, Lynch

Frank J. Azzarito, 85, a lifelong Haverhill resident, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 29 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, surrounded by loved ones. Visiting hours are Sunday, June 2 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St., Haverhill from 3-6 p.m. Services begin Monday morning in the funeral home at 9 a.m., with a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in All Saints Parish, 120 Bellevue Ave., at 10 a.m. Burial with U.S. Air Force Honors follows in Linwood Cemetery.

Janet L. (Parker) Cerat, 71, of Haverhill, died Wednesday, May 29 at Burlington’s Lahey Medical Center surrounded by her family. Visiting hours are Monday, June 3 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St., from 4-8 p.m. Services begin Tuesday morning in the funeral home at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated in All Saints Parish, 120 Bellevue Ave., at 11 a.m.

Dorothy “Dottie” (Greene) Comeau, 93, of Haverhill, died Monday evening, May 27, at Hannah Duston Healthcare, Haverhill. Comeau was employed at Hy-Tron for more than 20 years, where she was a union steward. She also worked at Oriental Gardens in Haverhill and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, June 1 from 10-11 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St.,Bradford. Her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11:30 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Haverhill, is private.

Elizabeth J. “Betty” (DePalma) Fenton, 91, of Atkinson, N.H., died Wednesday evening, May 29, at Salem Haven Nursing Home in Salem, N.H. Born in Haverhill, she earned her nursing certificate from Beverly School of Nursing in 1949. Funeral services are private and under the direction of H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill & Bradford.

Richard E. Lynch, 85, of Salisbury, died May 28 at Wingate of Haverhill with his family by his side. A longtime Haverhill Public Schools employee, Lynch spent the majority of his career as a Haverhill High School guidance counselor, later working as a sports writer and private business owner. Calling hours are Sunday June 2 from 5-8 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. His Funeral Mass of Christian Burial is Monday June 3 at 10 a.m. in St. James Church, 185 Winter St., Haverhill. Burial follows in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow, N.H.
