Phillip O. Willis, 70, died May 27 at Boston Medical Center with his family by his side. Born in Trelawny, Jamaica, he worked as a fine furniture maker before moving to the United States in 1984 and settling in New York. He later moved to Haverhill, where he worked at Vernon Plastics. Calling hours are Wednesday, June 5 at the New Life Christian Assembly Church, 966 Main St., Haverhill, from 10 a.m.-noon. A funeral service follows in the church at noon.
