Kathleen Ann (Thibault) Brown, 69, died May 22 at Nevin’s Nursing Home in Methuen surrounded by her family. A Haverhill native, she also lived in Kingston, N.H. A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday, May 26 at 2 p.m. at Mr. Mike’s Restaurant, 1149 Main St., Haverhill. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
Socrates Yannakoureas, 92, died May 22 at his home surrounded by his family. Raised and educated in Greece, he came to the United States more than 60 years ago to establish SY Painters of Haverhill. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Peter and St. Paul Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, Winter Street, Haverhill at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 25. Burial follows in Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill.
