This Week’s Radio Drama: Ray Noble in ‘Just One Happy Little Family’

Ray Noble, known best as a musician and orchestra leader, moved to New York City from England in 1934, occasionally took on radio acting roles. He played opposite ventriloquist Edgar Bergen and George Burns and Gracie Allen. On Monday night’s “Suspense,” he plays a remarried widower in “Just One Happy Little Family,” at 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., over 97.9 WHAV FM.
