Today’s Obituaries—May 14: Korejska, Maltais, Sullivan

Richard Korejska, 85, of Haverhill, died Sunday, May 12 at Lakeview House Nursing Home in Haverhill. Born in raised in Lawrence, he enjoyed watching the Red Sox and attending cookouts at Lakeview House. Services are private and are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill.

William E. Maltais, Jr., 61, of Haverhill and formerly of Everett, died peacefully Friday, May 10, at Baker-Katz in Haverhill. Maltais was a successful butcher who owned and operated Chatham Street Provisions in Lynn and Chatham Provisions Produce Company. A graveside service to celebrate his life is planned for Thursday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at Willow Grove Cemetery, 10 Whittier St., Newton, N.H. Arrangements are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 52 Salem St., Bradford.

Richard “Dick” John Sullivan, 87, died peacefully on Sunday, May 12, surrounded by his family at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford. A U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War, Sullivan worked for more than 30 years with Union Ironworker Local 351. Calling hours take place Wednesday, May 15 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 South Main St., Haverhill from 10 a.m.-noon. Services with U.S. Army honors follow in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill.
